It's less crossfaded, more cut and splice, very New Yorky, possibly circa 1982. Very Big Apple Production volume 1. Could this be the original volume 1? I'll take a guess it's a Shep Pettibone creation. Tell me I'm wrong if you know better. Colin will know. He picks up the baton from Double D and Steinski and brings you a smooth selection of inspired breaks, expert sample overdubs and pin point turntablism.  £300 seems to be the quoted value for an original vinyl copy, distinguished by the words "Hip hop smoothed out o­n the hip hop tip with a hip hop appeal to it" etched into the run-off groove. And I don't have o­ne. I got this version from the goldmine Scratchmasters Vol.3 CD, twelve sparkling tracks tracing the history of the scratch mastermix, a bit like this site.
