I checked it, liked where it was going and sent back a hearty email of encouragement telling him he was onto good things. Next time Pain got in touch, it was to send over his now near-legendary “Day The Earth Stood Still” mix, which was so on-point for Rhythm Incursions it almost read like a summary of everything we’d loved over the previous 12 months and more. I liked the mix so much I offered to host it for download - and now, some 7000 downloads later, Pain is back with another mix for you ears. Needless to say you can imagine my delight when he offered it to us first. As with his previous mix, the quality of selection here is insane, and once more it blends drama and dialogue with some of the choicest beats of recent times. The mix itself aired on the show with an introduction from myself. For the podcast version though, we’re dropping my chatter in favour of pushing the mix out in its original form - as it should be heard.
