MC Massiw Le Ghaza alias Wissam El Ghazi aus dem Libanon, begann 1996 in Heidelberg und Mannheim seine ersten Erfahrungen als MC zu sammeln. Zuvor war er als Sänger an diversen Projekten unter anderem bei Punk, Hardcore und Psychorock-Bands beteiligt. Als Resident bei der Heidelberger Partyreihe "Herbs & Spices" knüpfte er erste überregionale Kontakte nach Stuttgart, Heilbronn und Köln. Somit konnte er sich im süd- und westdeutschen Raum behaupten. 1999 kam er nach Berlin, um sich einer neuen Plattform aus vielseitigen Soundwelten anzuschließen und zu experimentieren. Seitdem begleitet er die Berliner Drum & Bass-, Jungle-, Breakbeat- und Happy Hardcore-Szene mit seiner unvergleichlichen Stimme und scheinbar endloser Energie.

Unter anderem spielte er zwei Jahre in der Worldethno-Breakbeat-Combo "CultureClash" mit. Ausserdem trat als Gastsänger bei Dragstars, Hybrid Inc. (Telescope), Formwandler und Human Sampler auf. Er ist seit 1998 fester Bestandteil des Drum & Bass Liveacts Contravibe (Broken Harmony Crew).

In 1995 the project "Contravibe" was initiated of Sun, floated by the idea to connect Breakbeat with elements from other styles and to thus break through musical dogmas. The resolution always was of substantial importance to bundle the creative energy of different people to develop and convert over completely new ideas for the project. With MC Massiw le Gahza from Berlin Sun 1998 found the vocal support for his productions and in the meantime completes Neonaut and Gor with their artistic potential the basis of Contravibe.

Primarily it goes around being border crossers, trend-setting and progressively. But in the meantime Contravibe moves in new spheres. The project stands no longer o­nly for matured sound productions and impressive graphic organization, but also for a revolutionary kind of the party entertainment. The vision of the guys is a symbiosis from view and audibility. Although each artist takes over its concrete part with Contravibe, the variety of experiences and personal preferences complet themselves to a constructional whole o­ne.
